Chrome 3 Bar Grill Bought off Ebay. Awesome fitment. Really changed the look of the truck. I thought about going with a billet grill, but like this so much now I'm keeping it.

Pulled the Engine Cover and painted. 5 coats Fire Red and 5 coats clear. With a fine brush also painted the Vortec logo silver to contrast. Turned out pretty nice and spices up the bland engine compartment.

Yes I painted it. I used 2 coats Duplicolor Adhesion promoter for plastic. Paint was Duplicolor T400 Victory/Fire Red from Autozone in a spray can. Clear was regular auto grade clear coat.

I did the same thing to my rear tailgate handle. Although on it I sanded it completely smooth for factory look. I left the engine cover the stock textured look and just painted it.

Here's the tailgate handle......

Everything looks great...and vaguely familiar! :uhoh:

How does your Weathertech rear mat fit around the rear of the jumpseat? Even after I removed the cutout, it still doesn't fit right on the drivers side.

BTW, before daddy says it, you can very easily debadge the Weathertechs...removing the logos doesn't even leave any residue!

Looks very nice, but then I'm partial to Fire Red.

Very nice. I have a billet grill, and like it, but I really like the look of the stocker in chrome. Excellent choice for that truck.
