Question On Tsb On Excessive Lint On Ebony Cloth Seats

I have a 2008 Crew Cab Z-71 with the Ebony Cloth seats that accumulate excessive lint. My dealer has looked up the TSB and is willing to replace the seat covers for me. My question is that the TSB says "Let customers know that the appearance of the insert material will be noticeably different".

Has anyone had theirs replaced - and if so - what are they are referring to? Where you satisfied with your new covers?

Thanks - I found the pics. I can't say I'm crazy about the looks. Has anyone heard if they actually are better in terms of lint ?

X2. I really don't like the way they look and will probably be keeping my seats as they are not that bad attracting lint. If I didn't hear about the problem here, I would never have thought anything of it.

From what I can tell the updated upholstery is just the center section. The back, sides, etc... are the same as before..
