When I sold my farm I moronically sold my mint 1950 Farmall BN. Life is truly right when sitting in the seat of your sturdy old iron horse. I used to brush hog my fields and pull stumps with it when not cruising for the pure joy of it. This picture is not me nor is the tractor mine, but mine was identical. Someday I will replace. The older the better. The definition of a good Ford is a 9N.

In 1956 our family had a re-union in Carey,Id. My grandfather had a tractor much like yours..well my cousin and I(9&8 yrs.old)were driving it one day(OK with gramps) and I thought my cousin(Deon) said it was in neutral,it was still in gear, and when I let the clutch out it jumped and went right thru a new wood fence..our grampa said "by thunder what in the hell were you two thinking, now get down off that damn thing before you kill yourselves"... it was so big we had to share driving duties.I controlled the clutch and steering,Deon worked the brakes and gearshift.... good memories :)

We've got a Kubota M9000 w/Bush Hog loader. That sucker is a beast! We've also got a Mahindra 595DI for the little jobs. I'll try to snap a few pics this weekend.

My dad grew up with the old Farmalls like that. He's got some good stories from working with those!

Got a Ford 1900 3-cyl 25hp Yanmar diesel. Have a JD bushhog. I know its a ford but it was decent price, had decent hours on it, and its small enough for me to maneuver in small areas. Plus it comes in handy when it snows here. Take it around the neighborhood and clean out their driveways.

 It's around a 53/54 model year.My dad bought it in 1975. He passed away in 2004 so I kept it.Still use it once in a while but it is showing it's age...The rear tires need new tubes installed and new clutch would be nice but other than that it runs excellent...post-59021-1234523031_thumb.jpg
