I think that it's a GMT-400 they're holding their rolls up with. Buy holy hell they'd need to lean against something as they certainly don't appear that they'd be able to stand on their own. The front end loader must be sitting just out of frame.

In a picture like that, my eyes go straight to the truck, where the tail lights were a dead give away that it was no Ford, but a GMT 400 GM truck and judging by the full, adjustable head rests and lack of passenger airbag a 95 or 96. Maybe if you weren't so focused on the whales you would have noticed it.
