So how did the Ford make out?

I once had a Dodge Dakota rear end me in my Colorado, before I had a hitch on it...All it did was dent the plastic part a bit, he claimed that his radiator was leaking...Insurance company declared him at fault of course.

I got lucky it didnt hurt the frame or the motor.

The ford that pulled out in front of me is totaled i'll try to get some pics up of it. They turned in front of me like i wasnt even there. I t-boned them in the passenger door at about 40-45 mph

That stinks, gotta love how people don't pay attention. I see your parking lights popped out as well is that suppose to happen or is it merely from the jolt of the accident ? I had that happen with mine from a minor bump and both of em popped out.

That so royally sucks ass there Jake! I'm sorry those dumb asses did that and ended up damaging your truck! What a huge PITA for you. But lots of good luck dealing with the insurance companies and getting your truck fixed up like new.

Well this happened today, the semi driver is one of co-employee's. The van pulled out right in front of him on a highway and unfortunately, the lady driving the van was pronounced dead on the scene.

I think your truck made off pretty well. and sorry for jacking your thread

Make dang sure you get a BIG check for depreciation/lost value after the repairs. Don't be played like a sucker & just take the repair money.

I had a "99 Dakota. A 5 mph front end collision could literally do 5k or more worth of damage to them. The "bumper" is a thin sheet of metal going across. The rest is Polyurethane
