have you heard of anyone combining a leveling kit, body lift, and suspension lift?

I currently have the 6" suspension lift, and the 3" body lift is being added right now.

Can I add a 2" leveling kit (to the front/rear)?

Im new to all this so bare with me. Any comments appreciated..

HMMM thats a good question. If your Fabtech lift lifted the rear with blocks you can just change out the current blocks to larger ones (Do NOT STACK BLOCKS). Since I am unsure how your lift is installed in the front I don't know if you can put the spacers on your struts like I am fixen to do. To be honest, I would say go with a body lift. You could put on a 3 inch body lift for a total of 9 inches, but remember your going to have to buy or fabricate specific mounts for your front and rear bumbers and your nerf bars. If you dont' it will be very obvious you've done a body lift. Personaly I think your Truck looks GREAT are you sure you haven't caught the MORE LIFT MORE LIFT disease? It's kind of like plastic surgery, you have to know when to stop. :D

Depends if the Fabtech kit was a full 6" drop. If there weren't any sort of leveling kit used to achieve the 6" of lift, then you can add a spacer up front.

Yes it can be done, but... adding a leveling kit to a 4wd like yours is going to put your CV's and balljoints at undesireable angles. Alot of 2wd drive guys have done it and then bought pricey uca's to compensate.

You can stack a CCM spacer on top of the Fabtech. Your UCAs will be CLOSE to to droop stops and CVs will be at a slightly greater angle. The Fabtech kit leaves your CVs basically flat so a leveling kit isnt a problem. They have a group buy going for some custom UCA's with uniball's on GMFULLSIZE.com. They are SWEET, but about 550.00. For the rear, I suggest a new leaf spring pack. These will cost about 500-900 bucks. Go with a 10" spring pack from Competition, Deaver, or another reputable spring CO. You going with bigger tires? 35's might look kinda small with all that lift.

The truck has been in the shop for the past couple days getting the 3" bds body lift installed. Soo... first thing this morning I asked the shop about adding the spacer and new block in the rear to add a couple more inches. They said they could do it, but would have to order the leveling kit. I told them not to worry about it, and to finish with the bl. I was afraid that if i got the additional 2" i may not be able to fit under my carport.

I got the truck back this afternoon, it looks F'n sweet! Only bad thing is the gap guards were on back order so now I have to wait for them to come in.

First thing I did when I got the truck home was remove the nerf bars on the sides, and wash it! It looks pretty sexy, I may need to up my tires to 37s... the guy at the shop said they would probably rub a lil bit.

As far as my future in upping the lift some more, I may add the 2" spacer up front, and bigger block (or leaf) in the back. I dont want to deal with the cv angle issue though, and the uneven tread ware on my tires. But I did check the clearance under the car port and I do have about 3 more inches tho.

I would def go with 37's, 38's if you add the spacer. A bigger block in the rear would be kinda sketchy. The Fabtech already uses a big ass block. I don't know how you use the truck, but I would really go with entirely new leaf springs.

Pics coming soon. I just took the truck to a 4wheeler park and took it through the mud for the first time. lol I have to document this with some pics to prove that it has been offroad, at least once.

Good point about the bigger block. Really the truck is just a weekend car, I have a work truck and a crotch rocket that i drive more often.

This is no joke. I swear this. Ok, maybe about 2 weeks ago, i went with my ol' lady to the local les schawb to switch her snow tires out. When we got back, there was this big ass yellow ford parked in there. When I walked by I couldn't help but look at it in amazment because of its size. I decided to take a look at the tires to see what it was because I really want to see what 20's on 35's look like. So as we were passing by I bent over to see, they were 20's with 37's which didn't look bad at all. I had to take a double look because I saw 2 sets of leaf springs with space between them. When I stuck my head in there (there was that much space) I realized that it was 2 sets of blocks, and 2 sets of leaf springs! It was a block, leaf spring, block, then another pack of leaf springs! WOW!!!

that is fine to do. the fabtech lift for the nnbs keeps the cv angles pretty much flat so it allows for a spacer to be added in the front without issues. with the fabtech kit, a 3" body lift, and a spacer in the front you should have NO problem clearing 38's. keep in mind with the spacer in the front your truck is going to have a mean cali-lean (the truck will sit lower in the back)

I dont think u want to do a cali lean (bulldog) on that truck with the 22's.. It just wouldn't look right without wider tires.. you would have to go pretty wide since the wheels are 22's. I think a 35" diamater would be good if you have the 6+3+2 up front and just body and fabtech lift in back. You would just need to go wider wheels, You would want to switch to the 12" wide wheels (they also stick out more) and run like a 15" wide tire... Or atleast go with as wide as tire as u can get on those wheels and do a wheel spacers..

Just by lookin at the pic in his avatar.. I think jimmyboys truck would look pretty hard with a cali lean.. I chose his cuz its the same as urs, just with smaller diameter wheels that stick out farther.. Just throw some nice shocks on it and do some other little things to make the front lift look more "showy"

Did you ever get any updated pics with the body lift yet?
