Got a Tundra and want a Custom Tune? Hope you have alot of money!

http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tund...-now-available/

List price for both ECU and TCU will be $1650-1850 (we haven't decided yet).

The initial Group Purchase price is $1350 for both ECU and TCU.

ECU alone (GP price) is $700

TCU alone (GP price) is $750

Remember this is not copy and paste tuning, we literally move 1s and 0s around on thousands of possible pages of code. Our IS-F/C63/M3 tunes are $4500 for ECU/TCU, Ferrari dual ECU tunes are $10-15k and a very trick Veyron tune is over $20k.

We are a premium tuner with premium results. We hold the 1/4 mile records for every vehicle model we've tuned to date. There will be others that show lesser gains (no one can do TCUs besides us period) wtih a generic flash that are consequently less expensive. However the difference bewteen our tuning and theirs is literally night and day. Our part throttle drivability (which is significantly harder to dial in than WOT) is absolutely amazing--most other tuners don't even touch part throttle tables.

Need an update? No problem, as long as it's within a couple of weeks, otherwise, get your checkbook out again!! (see posts 79-80)

I love my GM truck even more now.

Who has that kind of money, and is still stupid enough to spend it for what...20-30 hp?

Folks that were stupid enough to buy a Tundra in the first place, Mark!

 This just puts the icing on the cake!

EDIT: And I just realized, that's just a GENERIC tune (although that tuner strongly denies it). There's no data-logging done at all. Justin charges $200 for the same thing for our trucks, and for $300 we get a much superior tune! Hilarious!

It's a joke. The guy also mentions that HPTuners cannot touch certain tables they are "tweaking". Didn't say anything about EFI-Live though. I'd like to hear what Justin or Wheatley's opinion of this is.

Hell, he's probably using EFILive but doesn't want them to know since we're getting EFILive tunes for roughly a fifth of the price.

Come on now...they gained like 18-20hp over stock. I couldn't read through the entire thread, but what I did catch of it was quite entertaining.

That's not too bad of a price. The Tundra has the most powerful truck engine so giving it an extra 20-30 HP is like adding 100 HP to a GM engine. I mean it comes with headers FROM the factory!
