1988 GMC 2500. 141000Km. 45000Km on crate engine installed 10 years ago by a shop for the original owner. CAT has been removed. AIR system is disabled.

Exhaust gas analyzer readings at idle: CO = 0.89%, HC = 749ppm, C02 = 12.89%,

O2 = 2.9%

Readings at 2500 RPM: CO = o.16&, HC = 63 ppm, CO2 = 12.89%, O2 = 2.92%

 

Question. What is causing all of that unburned fuel at idle? Ignition/spark is good. A vacuum leak at the throttle body was recently repaired with a new gasket. No other obvious vacuum leaks. Have checked with propane.
