Got The Alarm Installed This Weekend.

After reading Texasal's post on the alarm. I pulled the trigger. I also ordered the 1701G for the doorlock bypass. The module did not come in in time. Luckily my buddy that was installing it, was able to located another unit. It was a flashlogic? ADSDL? I think. Their diagrams were not very descriptive so it took a bit to figure out how to connect that module. All in all, I am very pleased with the alarm. My buddy did a kick ass job installing it, printed up all the diagrams first, highlighted the needed wires, mounted the alarm and module to a board to cut and solder all of the wires. Anyways, if anyone is looking to get one put in, or any stereo work, I highly recommend this guy. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will get you contact info. Remote start works awesome, the range also seems to be very impressive.

Very good product but you should have uped to the ADS-AL-CA with the OL-RNG GM3!

B/C if the remote fails to start the truck the DEI will tell the truck to keep cranking, then the car thinks it is being stolen and locks you out for some time and you will have to use the real key and wait. Oh and if your truck have the heated seats and the auto climate control it will control those plus like 12 other.

I have seen the ADS for $64 and the RNG for $25 Amazon.

I am in Killeen, it's a few hours drive, but was very worth it to me. We did install the key ring or whatever.. We wrapped the wire around the ignition numerous times.. and let it program the chip in it or whatever.
