Painting Side Mirror Overlays?

Hey guys,

I decided I am going to get some side mirror overlays for my avalanche. I cant find any side mirror overlays for my Avalanche except in Chrome and i want them in white. My father works at a bump n paint shop so i have a place to do it. I just need to know if these can be painted over. If not, does anyone know where i can find paintable ones? Thanks a lot. On a side note, do you guys think my truck would look better with these? peace.

I'm not sure if GM offered painted or paint-to-match mirror covers for the GMT800 trucks. You could try PMing MS3DALE (Rich) and ask him about part numbers. As for the side note: Yes, I think it would look better with white mirror covers...and white door handles, too.

I have a set of paintable mirror covers that I need to get rid of. I bought chrome for my truck. I was going to repaint some that I got from an Escalade, but decided Chrome was a better choice for me. They are primed. If you want them, let me know a price and I'll ship them to you.
