Tire Advice

I have a 07 Silverado 1500, just got some PRO comp 20 x 9 wheels and ordered a RC leveling kit. Trying to decide between a couple tires and looking for some advice, even after reading a lot of info on here. Narrowed it down to the Cooper Zeon LTZ vs Pirelli Scorpian ATR. The draw back to the Pirelli is the 275/55/20 is cheap at $153, but the 275/60/20 jumps up to $321(anyone know why). So wondering if the 275/55/20 is enough tireor if I should go w/ the Cooper. Any input or pics would help, thanks

The price jump is probably due to the 275/60 being a higher load range (D or E).

Sorry, I don't know anything about the two tires though...

I just got some 285/50 20 Cooper LTZs (~$173/ea) last weekend. I am VERY pleased thus far. Do you have classic or NBS? There are some guys on here running 305 50 20s on the NBS (w/leveling kit). But, I'll let them chime in, as I only drive an 06 and don't know as much about NBS.

I you have a classic, I believe you can go as big as 285/55 20.

I have the scorpions on my truck now and they're not bad, but I'd go with the coopers. I hear very good things about the Zeon LTZ and I personally like the more aggressive tread design as well.

i have the coopers in 275/55/20 and really like them. i even have a 3" body lift on my truck and the 275s look pretty good on there (although im selling them to get a 305/55/20).

But i think that the 275/55/20 will look good even with the leveling kit, so i wouldnt let that stop you.
