I have a 2005 escalade. The worning light on the dash cam on for the air bag. The onstar diagnostic said it is the crash sensor. Does any one know how many are on the truck and were they are located?

thanks

This may not help, but being as no one else has replied...

On other vehicles I've worked on, there were four crash sensors, one center front, one center dash, one front left, and one front right. The only sensor you could see was the center front. The others were buried under the fenders and dash.

Then the air bag monitoring system basically monitored the wiring. There were "resistors" tied in to each device (each air bag and sensor) and if the monitoring system no longer saw that resistance (open or short), then the warning light would go on. The diagnostics would say which specific sensor or air bag had the malfunction.

I don't know if your system is similar or not. But if there is one thing I've noticed with various vehicles, they sure like to do things differently every chance they get!

This may sound like a weird question, but have you recently disconnected the steering rack and spun the steering wheel?
