Could I get some input on a 2009 silverado ltz crewcab 4x4 with the max package( 6.2 engine 9.5" rear axle, 3.73 gears, and Z85 suspension) as how good this combination is as I am considering ordering one.

I can't imagine a nicer, more capable "1/2-ton". As you'll see, many of us prefer the Sierra body style

Speak for yourselves gentlemen. The Silverado is much better looking. Seriously Dave if you can get either the Sierra or the Silverado you will have the best truck on the market. Good luck.

I have a 07 LTZ crew cab with the 6.0 and 4 speed with 3.73 gears and I absolutely love it. It is an awesome truck. I can only imagine how good the truck would be with the 6.2 and a 6 speed. I agree with the above, the best truck offered right now. You can't go wrong with the silverado or sierra.
