So, this weekend I have gone to Oklahoma to my parents house to change out intakes on my Nova and help Dad out with his new toy. This thing is going to make going to the races much nicer. Just thought I would share. Now, I can't wait for our first outing.

By the way. Every time I drive my truck now, I love my Blackbear Tune even more. The head winds were blowing what seemed like a 100 mph today and my truck handled it with ease. Definitely the strongest wind I have pulled in for a while. So Justin if you read this :D:lol:

Yes sir! That is one of the best parts. Those 100 degree plus days will be much nicer now with shade and A/C. We just added a winch today and currently there is no awning. That is next.

Really nice rig. How cool would it be to have a Dad with a 69 Z/28?

Tell us a little more about the car man. Was/Is is a 302 Car? What kind of times does he run?

Thanks guys. Dad has been like a kid at Christmas since he picked it up. We just added an equalizer/sway hitch (not sure the correct name) and loaded the trailer. It towed great even in this crazy wind.

The car. No, it is no longer a 302. We bought the car about 15 years ago and it was no longer a 302 at that point and the rear end had been change along with some other things. We had no desire to go back stock with it.

It had a mild 327 in it that sounded good, but probably only made 330-350hp along with the M22 4speed and some body put 3.55 gears in the car. We have built multiple motors for the car since then. Starting off with only wanting about 400hp and something that sounded good because it was a show car and cruiser to what is in it now a 427 Small Block that is right 630hp before we hit the go juice.

On the motor it runs mid 10's on a 150shot of spray it runs in the upper 9's. I don't have pics on my photobucket right now, but I am still in OK so I will snap some pics while I am still here if anyone is interested in seeing them.
