I just lowered my truck with a front 2'' drop spindle, threw on some belltech street performance shocks...rear 4'' shackle and hanger kit and belltech street performance shocks...now my driver side sits lower than the passenger side causing rubbing on I believe the front and rear tires when a big enough bump is hit...is there anyway to level this out / prevent this rubbing? my tires will start to get shredded if driven everyday

I know generally the driver side sits lower because of the gas tank but I cant have this rubbing problem forever, my tires size is 275/55/20

Do you have torsion bar front? I had rubbing on my Escalade 2004" with 22" and 305 toyo. Is it rubbing in the rear area of the front well on the plastic? Oh what did you do for rear bump stops?

I have allways heard spindles will screw up the front with large wheels! But I don't know.

My new truck is lowered and I have the same problems.Fixed all rubbing in front other than the largest spot. But will fix it when the weather is nice.

no torsion bar on the front of mine, I guess I never looked into the pro's and con's of spindles, hopefully it wont mess everything up!

for the bump stops I used what came with the shackle and hanger kit, I took the factory ones off, I havent driven it around enough yet to know how bad it will bottom out.

So how did you fix the rubbing? Mine almost seems like its on the side of the tire and not way up in the wheel well...like my tire is too wide hitting the lip on the wheel well

When you say rubbinng on wheel well are you saying the METAL lip? Or are you saying the plastic wheel well insert? I hit the plastic insert and only in the rear about 1" from the brake line and it is worst at the lowest part of the fender where a push pin goes in.

Anyways sandbag and a hammer on the metal and a DA sander on the plastic. As I sadi it rubbs HARD on the plastic but the worst noise comes from the plastic by the brake line.<--Easy fix with a zip-tie to the line pulled the plastic back over a 1". But most people air saw the plastic.

I have no bumpstops in the rear. and WOW it is a world apart from before. I had 1" cut off the factory stop but ony 1" space from stop to rear end. So rode like hell. Now I have 4" it is great. However I will cut and grind of the mount and screw in a mini mount. So I can tow without it hitting hard. VERY cheap mount and much needed.

I would say it's mostly due to the tall tire. I ran 275/45/20s when I lowered my 05 2/4 and I never had a problem. Should be pretty easy to fix though with some banging, cutting, or grinding.
