What Year 4l80e Will Work With 1999 2500hd?

What year 4l80e transmissions will work with my 1999 Chevy Silverado 2500HD truck? Its a 6.0L V8 and is new body style.

199 &2000 M/Y are transitional years and your best to use a 99 in your truck. Whats wrong with your trans? if its bad just get it rebuilt.

Thanks for the info. My tranny is slipping. Its the clutches. Not my first rodeo. =) I have located a few different year 4l80e's out of wrecked trucks for cheap....or atleast ALOT cheaper then a rebuild. No 99's or 00's though!
