Posting in the right forum like the audio, video and electronics is a good start. But anyhew, You can buy the standard amp kit, will be fine. Rcas are usually 18 feet, ground just needs to be a foot or couple of feet. Power usually is around 24 feet in a kit. IF your doing just one amp, a 8g kit is fine, if your putting in two amps, then go with a 4g kit.

18ft. seems like overkill. I think that's what I used in my CAR. 24ft. also seems like a lot of wire for a regular cab truck. Anybody else confirm or negate this? Thanks for your help, though.

well thats what usually comes with a kit, yes it is overkill, but unless you buy seperately which will cost a bit more is fine. Besides that, um you can shorten the power wire by cutting it to the size u need.
