Torque For Intake Manifold

If it's the same as it is for the Gen. I Vortec engines, then you do a criss-cross pattern starting at the middle four bolts and then the outer four first with 50 in-lbs., then 100 in-lbs, then 132 in-lbs (11 ft-lbs). You might want to wait for someone else to verify this for you, though. I'll check up on it, as well.

 

EDIT: I take that back, I forgot how loose the composite intake manifolds of Vortecs are set compared to the older engines. According to Automotive Repair Reference Center, the intake manifold needs to be tightened to 35 ft-lbs. for all gas engines. You should still use a criss-cross pattern, though.
