1sooner_holic Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 hey everybody ive a 06 sierra 2500hd that has been a pain from day one. its one of those love hate relationships with this truck but my current issue is wiring harness. can anyone tell me if there is a inline fuse in the wiring harness somewhere. i hook up to my truck no lights on the trailer so what is the easiest thing for me to do was replace the old lights on the trailer which did no good at all. so scratching my head as i tend to do alot when i work on things around the house i say what about bringing the wifes tahoe over and checking it out. hooked up and hum lights gleam on the trailer. so all my fuses in the fuse block are good makes me wonder if there is a GM inline fuse in the wiring harness. anyone have any suggestions. scratching my head in yell county.
TexasAl Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Welcome aboard. As for an inline fuse, I have not heard of an inline fuse. Check your fuses again.
DofD Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Hey there and welcome to GM Trucks! I'd also check the wiring back from the trailer light receptacle in case the wiring has rubbed or shorted somewhere. Using a meter, is there any power to any of the pins?
