Not stacked exactly, but they have used too different brands/types. Like a bottom mount and a top mount spacer. Can you do it? Yes. Should you do it? No. It will produce crappy CV and Upper Control Arm angles.

+1

It will screw up the front end geometry.

Bad, bad, bad idea. Your upper control arm will be riding on the droop-stops, your CV, tie rod, and ball joint angles will be atrocious, which will make the truck ride and handle like absolute shit, and you'll be going through front suspension and steering components like crazy.

But it'll look cool, and that's all that matters, right? :D

Do it right the first time, there's no cheap way to lift a truck. Your best bet is a 3" body lift and a 2" leveling kit.

There was a guy on GMFS who stacked leveling kits like that and achieved 4" of lift up front. Sure, it looked cool like Dan said, but his angles up front made me dizzy....

I think he also cut off his droop-stops. I don't think we ever heard back as to how his truck was holding up. I wonder why? :D

The ready lift 3" blocks only give you a 1" lift from factory. Your truck rolls off the assembly line with 2" blocks in the back... So a 3" block will give you a 1" lift.

I just installed the ready lift 2.25 up front and I'm getting the blocks either this week or next... I would not stack the front kits, Angles are very important up front.

I thought that the stocks blocks are 1 1/4 so ther4 i thot it would give 1 3/4 lift!

You thought correct. The 4wd GMT800s had 2" blocks, but I believe all GMT900s come with 1.25" blocks under the rear springs.

well i thot iwas but wasnt sure, so how do u think 2" levln kit a set of rancho quicklift and the blocks for the back would look with a set of 285s...and by the way i have an 07 gmc extended cab z71.

A leveling kit with a Rancho quicklift will do the same thing to your front suspension as stacking leveling kits. One or the other. You can't get more than 2-2.5" without a true suspension lift.
