Bobby Labonte

Well, very unexpected, but I go to talk on the phone to Bobby Labonte today.  He is here in Vegas testing at the speedway.  A lady who works at the office has a "friend" who works out at the track.  He was eating lunch with Bobby and a few other drivers and was taking to her on the phone, so she just hands the phone to me and says it is Bobby Labonte.  I was like...ah....hi....ah....how's it going????  Was totally unprepared for that conversation, so I sounded like an idiot.  Oh well, the guy also took a pic of Bobby talking to me on the phone and Bobby is going to sign it for me which is cool, may even get a chance to meet him when he is back out here in March for the race.  Oh yeah, if you didn't know, Bobby Labonte is my fav driver.  I missed out on talking to Tony Stewart, Schrader, and some others though.  Anyways, that was the highlight of my day, and probably my week (have no life   )

If you talk to any of them when they come back, I would like to know what Schrader is like.  He seems like he would be a really nice, fun guy.

Schrader is a very nice guy. He owns a race tack about 30 minutes from where I live and he visits it frequently during the year. When he comes to town, he always has a couple buddies along. Last year he made quite a few appearances. He brought down, Dale Jr., Tony Stewart, Bobby Labonte, and a couple others, just to name a few. He races modified class and Tony comes with him when the owtlaws are running.

Schrader is nice.  I talked to him once at Darlington for about 5 minutes.
