Have a navigation sys in a 2007 I need to remove but how. Anyone have any handy specs on navigation system removal

Thanks

Pop off the trim around the radio and the rest will be pretty obvious. There are a few bolts back there that will need removed and then it should slide right out. You'll need to remove the AC controls as well but they are just as simple. The trim will take some force to remove but it is just held in with clips. They'll pop, eventually.

Because unlike you, I pay attention and try to help around here. :)

There's more to this forum than being the argumenator. :omg:

Yep.

If you can use some plastic tools, like the many panel tools available, you will be happier. Screwdrivers ding and scratch the "plood" quite easily :P

Good luck!
