S10 Blazer 4.3 Bad Intake Gasket

I'm looking buying at a 99 s10 blazer. It had anitfreeze in the oil, new intake gasket was installed.

 

Engine sounds ok but wondering if it hurt anything. I have no idea how long it was like that. I don't want to buy it if I might have engine problems down the road.

 

If it did damage would it be showing up now or could it show up later ?

It's not good for the bearings. The longer it ran with water in oil the more damage potential

if you are interested have a machanic check it out. If it is good than you can use that as a major barganing point.

Well I see the oil pressure is a little wierd. 20 at idle and 40 going down the road. It goes up and down if you rev it up a little. 20 to 40

 

Must off started to work on the bearings ?

 

Can the pan be pulled and just put bearings in ?

 

It still sounds good and runs good but the oil pressure ain't right I don't think. Does have 150,000 on it.

My '06 with the 4.3 runs 20 psi at idle...45 psi running down the road.
