How Many Miles On Low Fuel Warning

Hi, how many miles can i drive if my truck get in the warning LOW FUEL, and the warning sound.

I had 1/4 of my fuel tank, but i parked today the truck with the front in a lower position, and i tryed to start and the system get in low with the warning actived. The fuel stations is on the road back home, but i'm not suere if about 20miles from here.

If you were parked on a slope with the front facing downward, all the remaining fuel simply went to the front of the tank. My fuel warning usually goes off with 4 gallons left in the tank, that would give you 10-45 miles range depending on conditions.

I get 0 miles bc my truck never gets that low. I always fill up around 1/2 a tank... sorry no help here!

I have gone 63 miles after low fuel light

so, i would not have problems with starting my truck today in the noon, and road to the next gas station about 20-25 miles on road..

You should be able to make it 20-25 miles as long as the traffic is moving decently. Just drive with a light foot to be safe.

You should be fine. I usually try and get gas when I have about 1/4 tank, but my wife on the other hand doesn't know a gas gauge is there until it dings at her. I think the most she has driven after the light is on is about 40 miles. Also we have never got more than 24 gallons in the tank ever. I think the light is specifically for people like my wife.

i always have my tank full, here the fuel tank completely full is about USD$ 1.25

Turn it around and park it with the front up for 15 minutes. You will have the same amount of fuel in the tank, but it will show quite a bit more on the guage. I have seen the low fuel warning on when parked downhill, drive it to where I need to go, park uphill and see almost a quarter of a tank. Usually makes me 'feel' better about not running out.

I generally go about 45-60 miles after the low fuel warning.

...if you're going to give me the low fuel level/burnt-out fuel pump lecture, I'm good, thanks...I've done it for 20 years, and I've never blown a single in-tank fuel pump.
