3 Piece Engine Cover On Nbs

I'm looking to get rid of the engine cover on my 08 1500 and was wondering if the ss covers (or old body escalade) covers would work? looked at both and looks like just gotta change a few lil things and it will go right over........anyone tried?

I just hate the open hole left when you do a cai on these new covers! or you guys got any other ideas?????

Any advice anyone? I'm i the only one who hates these engine covers when you go to a cai? big ol hole with nothing in it!

i hear ya!!! you would think an 80k sticker escalade would have a better looking one but NOPE!!! wtf!

Engine covers are useless anyways. I don't care what kind of car it is or how much it cost. The engine compartment is meant to be functional not "pretty."

I disagree that they're useless; they do keep dirt and grime from building up as quickly on parts that are under them. That's enough of a function for me.
