Please Help! Bose Rear Speakers Don't Work:(

Recommended Posts

Hello  I just purchased a used 2005 Silverado Crewcab with the Bose system. The system actually sounds really good to me. Unfortunately, I noticed the other day that both speakers in the rear door weren't working:( I have checked the fader control which is in the middle position. I have also checked both the radio and amp fuses underneath the hood which were good. The rear seat audio(RSA) is powered off. I have also removed the rear speakers and tested them with a 9V battery and both make noise when connected to the battery. Thanks in advance for all of your help:)

try checking out the rear console. You can turn off the rear speakers and tune into a different channel to use with headphones. Is there a small headphone light lit up on the main console?

The Rear Seat Audio is powered off(No headphone on the main head unit). Thanks though:)

Check the connection on the back of the amp under your center console. Unplug the connectors & replug.
