Drive Train Noise?

Hello all, I have a 99 silverado 4x4 5.3L.I am curently hearing this "GUNK" noise coming from drive train when i go to accelerate after stopping! It feels like there is a split second Lag which is causing this noise from somewhere in the drive train. U joints? Rear end? Torque converter? Transmission? Any suggestions from experince? Thank you.

Care to explain where and what it does? Thank you. I'm asumming yoke at driveshaft?

Yup it's where the driveshaft goes into the transmission housing. Pack some grease in there and it should help.

Thank you will give it a try. Will ordinary bearing grease do? or is there a grease fitting? So the yoke is dry or worn out? Just wondering if i should just replace it?(yoke) Thanks again.
