We both work at GM stores.

 

GM plans on slashing 1,100 stores in a matter of hours...

 

Are your knees knocking...or are you guys pretty secure right now??

 

Well, I can say this...where I work

 

sales have been unbearably miserable

 

service...we are standing around at 2pm every day waiting for any work to show up

 

you guys get the point...

I understand that GM is looking at *CSI Scores *Profits *Current Units Sold, etc...

 

opinions ?

I hope all you guys keep your job, there is not a worse feeling for someone who wants to work but there is no work for them.

Hope you guys dodge the bullet. I know it sucks for ANYBODY to lose out but it's doubly bad when it's out own forum members.

The dealers that had bad customer service and low volume sales will be gone. There were 151 dealerships that only sold 50 vehicles a year.

Good luck guys, we'll be thinking about you. I have a cousin that works at a GM dealership, the owner also has a CJD dealership across the street that is on the list to be shutdown. I just hope the GM side survives.
