georgecdisc Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Got my spray in liner done today! Up next I'll be adding a cover and chrome rails. I don't see Line-x badging anywhere, is it Line-x? Rhino line? Bed liner is definitely #1 priority for me. My truck was 2 days old and got sprayed at the first appointment possible.
gmercury Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Thanks! The brand is Turbo liner. I guess it's the same as Rhino and the others I just didnt get it done at a Rhino dealer. I got it at a place called Pasadena bed Linings. Anybody that lives in the Baltimore MD area thats interseted I can give you the info. They put a little plate inside the bed w/ the name on it. I hate seeing those stickers on the glass! I have gotten my last 4 trucks done there and have always been pleased with the work they do. Wasnt too bad on the wallet. 425+ tax with a lifetime warrenty. I actually waited to get it done due to an issue with the AC. But the dealer was able to fix it so I went a head and got the liner installed.
georgecdisc Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Dealer offered to spray my bed when I got it, but I told them I already plan to get Line-x done. Dealer was about $50 cheaper, but through Line-x I knew I was safe with a lifetime warranty... that is respected nationally. If I got it done at the dealer who knows if I could get it fixed if a tear formed. I've never seen a problem with liners ripping, but I feel safer going with a company that will fix it regardless of location in the US. Also my father had it done on his so I knew exactly what the result would end up looking like, and I liked it. Mine was $570, 8ft bed and over the rails. Worth every penny when the bed doesn't go to hell and always looks pleasant (and stuff doesn't slide around like crazy).
gmercury Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 They are great. I will never get a plastic drop in! Thats not a bad price for an 8ft bed either. I had called a couple places when first in the market and the cheapest I could find outside this dealer was no less than 6. I had originally paid 350 for the first one I had bought from this dealer. And on top of the quality and warranty they have been in business for 18 years so I trust their work!
nh09z71 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Looks good! I'm getting Line-X done next Tuesday. My dealer was going to spray Turbo Liner in...but would only warranty it for 3 yrs.
