Will Ford Keys Clear 35s

I have a 1994 z71. Rite now i have the stock 31s but want some 35s and a cheap lift. I was thinkin bout ford keys and 2 inch blocks to do this. Will i be a able to clear the 35s with this? A few of my friends have 2001 z71s with ford keys and 35s. Would mine be the same?

Ford keys are not a cheap lift. All they do is force the suspension further down within it's range of travel (so the suspension can still compress just as far).

 

Also, to fit 35s, you will need to crank the hell out of those keys, which are already indexed differently than the stock keys, which makes it so you have cranked it even further. The most height you can safely gain by cranking the torsion bars is about 1.5". Any higher than that, and the truck will ride like absolute shit, and you'll wear through CVs, tie rod ends, ball joints, pitman, and idler arms much quicker than normal.

 

So if you're spending lots of money replacing front end components, was that "lift" really that cheap? (the answer is no)
