Maybe its just me but all the sponsership stuff in W.C.  seems to be getting way out of hand.  Its starting to get on my nerves a bit.  Drivers cant seem to talk without throwing out corprate names every other word.

But I could be over reacting(very usual for me)

I'd like to know what you folks think.

well, time for a Budweiser. ;)

I'd probably say their names a lot to if they were giving my team that much money :music:

Yep.  Me too.

It is kinda annoying when they say all of the sponsors names, but they are getting a ton of money from those companies for the team and to plug the company's name, and in todays world you just can't have a team without all of that sponsor money.

Yep! I agree, they are saying their sponsors names a lot, but I doubt it is because they WANT to. They are probably told by the sponsor what to say and how many times to say it in one interview or no $$$$$$$!

You might be able to tell some drivers what to say but listen to a John Force interview some time no way could some guy tell him what to say or how to say it but he does manage to get those sponsors names in each and every time.

often get a kick out of seeing them try to remember all the sponsors they are supposed to name .... if the money the sponsors pay helps keep NASCAR going around the track, listening to their names is a small price to pay

Sponsers are a needed part of the sport and most of the time its pretty cool, what else do you associate the #88 car with other than the brown truck?  My problem lies with the guys like J. Gordan that sound like a tape recorder in each interview.  Sure they're getting paid to drop the name, but try to slip it in better and make it somewhat interesting.

Yea, I know you need the sponsers.  Mikey is real funny to listen to I will agree.  What inspired my post was Scott Riggs getting out of his car after his win saturday.  He had to start chugging chocholate milk!  I mean come on,  who is gonna want chocholate milk,  or even pepsi for that matter after a long hot race.  Give the poor guy a cold beer or a big glass of ice water.

Yeah I know, I wonder how much sponsorship money he gets from God?  :sarcasm:

Don't go there General.  I don't have much respect for people who make fun of others for their religious beliefs.
