welp i have a 2004 yukon denali. it has 66k on it and gettin ready to do some maintence on it. just wanted to get some opinions on what to use, what to change, what to do...

New plugs (What brand, what gap, new wires too?)

Trans Fluid (what brand, how much, what trans filter?)

Diffs Fluid (What brand, how much?)

anything else i should do as well?

i was thinking about a shift kit and or upgraded servos for the tranny to preserve it, any thoughs about that?

if it matters or means anything the truck has a GMPP cold air intake, Corsa touring catback exhaust and Wait4me Tune.

Your plugs will go a lot farther than 66k. They're iridium, good for 100k. If/when you do change I'd stick with AC and replace the wires at the same time

Trans fluid is going to synthetic now. Your choice of brands. I've used Amsoil. There are many others to choose from. I believe the last filter kit was ATP.

Diff fluid, I use Amsoil severe gear 75-90

Many people do use the corvette servo on these trans and are pleased with the results.

I'm changing the coolant & hoses this summer. If you still have factory fill you might want to consider the change.

Flush the brake system with fresh fluid.

You can also replace the power steering fluid as well

thanks for the reply, i heard some good things about royal purple fluids but is it worth the price to put royal purple everywhere?

where can i get the corvette servo for the trans, how much does it cost, how hard to install?

is a shift kit worth it as well?

I believe it's worth the cost to put quality lubricants in my vehicles. As far as I know RP is a good product. I have no personal experience with it myself. You might want to PM Black02Silverado and ask him some questions about lubes to use.

Also, if you search "corvette servo" you should find some very good threads to read.

I remember in my brosher when i bought my zr2 back in 1995 it said platinum plugs installed in vortecs that last a 100k miles. When i pulled them at about 60k or so the the tips were practically worn off and they were nothing but cheapo regular stock delco plugs. Imo i would change them out seeing it is easy to do so on these trucks.
