2010 Pricing

I went to my dealer yesterday and I was very shocked. From what the salesman was telling me that the 2010's are going to be 15% higher in price from this years price. I was also told that there are going to be limited amounts of 2500HD's Anyone heard anymore about this?

That is probably true for the diesel trucks. There is yet another extream EPA emmisions regulation that is required for 2010s to have to meet. The 2007 regs jacked up the prices pretty good, I am sure the 2010s will get hit hard as well. What I am not sure, about is rather the trucks with take the fuel mileage hit like they took in 2003 and again 2007. It seems to me that the MFGs can make a truck that gets great mileage, and they can make one that is super clean, but they seem to have an impossible task ahead that the Governent has laid out requiring them to do both. I know reliabilty is in real question with the modern clean disels. Not to mention cost has doubled since the Diesels prior to 2003.

 

So it would not be a shock to me at all to here the 2010 Dmax trucks were going up a lot in price, nor would it shock me to here there was going to be a restriction on the quatity that gets built.

 

Now Gas HDs I would be suprised if the MSRP were to change more than 1-2% like they normally do year to year.

Is there any 2010 info online? Only '09 info on both the US & Canadian Chevy websites. Any colour changes or new packages?
