Tire Expert

I currently have stock 18" 265's on my 07 Silverado , I would like to go with a taller tire but not increase the width. I am looking to better fill the wheel well and possibly get better mileage. In other words, I do not want to increase the surface area on the road. Can anybody recommend a tire size that would work for me? Thanks.

does anyone make a 265/70/18 or 265/75/18?

 

You're going to be very limited in options without bumping up the width some

Nice find. I also see that the General Grabber AT2 comes in that size.... there have been a lot of great reviews on those tires (ive never had them)

Yea, they're about equivalent... 95% vs 98%... both are excellent tires (i've had the revos before too)

 

The AT2's also have 17/32 tread depth as compared to the 11/32 of the Revo's, better ice/snow traction, and are cheaper than the Revo's. They're definitely a tire to consider, especially for those in the northern states dealing with winter weather. (then again, i think Texas has gotten more snow in the last year than NJ )
