Chrome Fender Trim Denali Xl

Any comments on chrome fender trim for a Denali XL like in the link below, stainless steel chrome so should last a long time. Wonder about looks and mounting if does it use existing holes. I do not what to drill at all.

I believe you do have to drill, I had a set on my last truck before I got fender flares. They collect alot of dirt behind them, so I'm not a big fan. On the right color though, they do look nice imo.

not a big fan of chrome around the fender...looks Pep Boys'ish IMO. Same w/ chrome or SS fuel tank door covers.

How about the TFP Stainless Steel Fender Trim - Third Generation?

It has rubber protective gasketing and it look well made for fit and finish.

Anybody try it yet?

I was not going to put this trim on my truck but ended up having to as a result of many, many rock chips on the edge of the wheel-well. It fits pretty good (TFP) and I only had to drill a couple of holes up front. I used the pull through and bend tabs on the back. I eventually took my truck in to get the chips fixed at a body shop and had to remove the trim - I couldn't wait to put it back on as it looked way to plain without it.

 

As a side note, GM should have their asses kicked for not putting fender flares on 4X4 trucks anymore. JMO.
