I have a 1997 Silverado Z71 and i cant find the RPO codes. Ive looked in the glovebox(nothing there) and ive looked in the driver's side door jam. There was just a sticker that told me the Gross Average Weight front and rear, The vin number, and tire size and tire pressure. I dont know where else to find the RPO codes. Please Help! Thanks!

i did...i took everything out of the glovebox. No sticker or anything in there...

Then some dipsh*t has removed itor broke the original door and didn't transfer the sticker.I would go to a local dealer, give them the VIN and they can get you a readout of your RPO codes. They have the resources wether they'll do it for free is another matter.I got lucky with my wifes '99 Burb. The sticker was torn and missing some of it.I had gotten to be on a first name basis with the Parts/GMPP manager of our local dealership so he did it for me as a favor(it also helped that I had spent alot of $ there).

I just went to a GM dealer parts counter and asked if they could print out my RPO codes. Gave the guy my VIN. He said sure, no problem...

No they did not charge me a thing. And it was just a couple of pages printed out on a computer printer. If someone did charge, I can't imagine it would be much.
