Gm Premium All Weather Floor Mats?

Just wondering if anyone has them? Are the molded to cover and protect all of the carpet in the front?

 

 

The front ones cover the same area as the ones that came from the factory with the truck. The one for the back covers alot more area and over the hump, not just two little squares like the factory ones. They are made of very soft plastic as compared to the factory ones which the material seemed more durable. However, they do look pretty good.

I had a set of these for almost 8 years and they worked perfectly in the Northeast with all the snow, salt, and mud. When I was in Southern Cali, they worked just as well with the sand. Very easy to clean and durable. The rear set for a quad cab covers the whole back area. The front ones are molded all the way around on both sides with a 1in lip.

I have the GM ones in my truck and although they are nice, as said above they do not cover any more area in the front than the factory mats. My dad has the Weathertechs in his '08 Yukon and unless I can steal his some day when I am over there (which he probably won't let happen), I will most likely grab some of those in the fall as they cover everything in the front.

 

The GM ones are not bad if you are pretty careful, and are not in and out too often in the snow/slush/other crap though.

I have the GM premium mats and love them.

If I lived in the land of slush and snow I would definitely go with the WeatherTech's.

Just a side thought, since winters in Ontario Canada can be harsh, I like the look of the Husky Liners compared to the WeatherTech ones. Just my personal thought, since slush and snow can be killer to floor boards. Anyone have experience with the Heavy Duty Mats, or do the liners work better with a floor mat inside them?

Here are a couple of pics, sorry for the all the dirt

 

I got some carpet at Lowe's to make a "Bed Rug", and had a bunch left over, and I just cut some out, and when they get filthy I just take them out and take the hose to them

 

Here's the side towards the hump:

Here's a pic of the "chute" that goes out the door, to dump the slush and water out, and protects the carpet and sill plate:

Sorry the camera batteries died before I got the pics of the back taken, but back there, it goes all the way under the seat, and all the way across, however they don't have the chute like the front, but they do have a fairly good sized lip to trap the water and slush and whatever else, and in the back I have my old floor mats that I cut to fit
