Lu3 (4.3 V6) Swap To Old 350 Small Block

this might sound lil crazy but i was thinking this...

swap the 4.3 v6 for a old 350 small block engine it would be like a lil project but the question is for the ppl that have experience on both newer trucks and older engines...

would it fit or would u need mods like fuel pump, alternator, motor and tranny mounts.

There is a lot that would need to be done. It will fit under the hood, but that's about all you have going for you. Everythng will need to be swapped out from electronics to fuel system to exhaust and tranny. Then you would have to be concerned with emission requirements of your state. Yes, you would be better off selling the 4.3 truck and buying a new one...

You would need all new everything. Why use a 350 anyways?
