I was wondering if any of you knew the total heigth of you silverado/sierra after a 6" lift and 35s

I am looking to buy one and want to make sure it will fit in my garage. ( My Old 01 Sierra with 6" lift and 35s fit inside! )

Bring the pics... show off you lifted truck in a garage or NOT fitting in a garage!!

(another excuse to show off your lifted truck!!)

^ Fender height does NOT apply in this case, he wants the ROOF height.

If he can ADD, he can easily measure his current fender height AND roof height. By using the complicated formula of subtracting HIS FENDER height from HIS ROOF height, and then adding that to MY fender height he will have derived MY roof height. No lift kit I know of changes the fender to roof height measurements of the truck...

The above is much easier than my tracking down my old truck and asking the owner if I can measure the roof height.

I'll try not to post completely useless info in the future, sorry

I am currently looking at a truck that is 5 hours away with a lift and want to make sure it will fit in the garage. if I had a truck here i could have already figured it out. Your thread was not useless but not what i was asking for. thanks though....

 well in that case, my post is useless in answering your question.

How tall is your garage?

Edit: i remember reading a thread recently where someone was installing a 6" lift in their garage and someone made the joke about it not fitting through the door... I'll see if i can find it, i think they mentioned some measurements there

Just under 82"

I have a single cab with the 6" lift and is 82" tall to the from ground to top of the Onstar antenna.

THANKS>>> The dealership measured it and said it was 78" tall.. I am assuming that is not the attenna top.

35's will not fit under a 4" lift will they? It has 35's on 20" wheels

35" tires will not fit with the 4" lift kit though.

78" may be right... does it have OnStar or satellite radio? If not, it probably doesn't have an antenna on top of the cab.

Also, the GMT900 cabs might sit an inch or two higher than the GMT800... not sure how much, but it seems like the upper section of the newer trucks are taller; so this may account for MKayler measuring 82" as opposed to the 78" for the 2001

I thought that... so it does have a 6" lift then. (dealership doesn't know much about the truck.)

I had to get a build sheet to find out a few things.

I am going to look at it tomorrow and will post pics if I purchase it..

we'll see if it fits in the garage!!!!
