First Impressions Kyb Gr-2 Shocks

Replaced the stock shocks about 2 years ago with Monroe Reflex Monotubes. I was happy with the results at that time. Recently, my truck started to ride very rough especially with the warmer weather. Had the tires checked out - no problems found. After reading just about all the shock posts, I decided to try out something different. Since I don't tow or haul much, I went with the KYB GR-2's for the better ride. I got the better ride I was hoping for with no loss of handling that the Reflexes had improved on over the stock shocks. I know from all those posts that there are some folks out there that are concerned about too stiff a ride. For those folks, I suggest you give these a try. Will post a further update as I accumulate some miles on them.

My experience suggests that KYB shocks are about on par with Bilsteins. I put KYB gas struts on my wife's Infinity I30 and it really made a big difference in handling, then I put the new Goodyear Eagle GT's on it and it really became a real pleasure to do some farfegnugening in.
