6 Inch Lift, Which? And Able To Keep 265's?

Ok so here it goes, you'll fry me for it i'm sure, but I'm looking to lift my 03 ecsb, trucks running 3.73's, and It just got new tires thrown on like 4,000 miles ago, Will I be able to run the 265's with a 6 Inch left until cash flow allows for 33's without affecting my scrub radius or anything?

 

Also what brand tires / wheels do you guys recommend for 33's and any preference in lift kits?

+1, I would wait til you can get bigger tires before putting the lift on, otherwise it will look like a stock 2500hd with the pizza cutters, except 2x worse....

Right on.. so you guys still roll BFG Mud terrains in 33 X 12.5? or what are people switching to for the 33's? and what are some of the more popular lift kits for my truck, i sceen a skyjacker and a RC and a rancho.. any suggestions?

I ran Skyjackers 6" lift on my 03 for more than 50,000 miles without issue. I was very happy with the lift.

Why would you only run 33s? You can run 35s with a 6 inch lift

because 33's look better imo.. wont have to regear.. and i wont have clearance issues.. the truck actually plans to be driven off road.. sorry.

I'm using A/Ts...I drive a lot of on-road miles for a M/T tire, and rarely go offroad. I've never gotten hung up offroading either...

I ran 33" tires for a while, heres a photo of it.

For comparison, here's the 35" with 6" lift

I ran 33" cause I was towing alot and I wasn't sure how the 35" tires would handle the weight. Both performance awesome and the 4.10's seem to work just fine most of the time. If you do any towing, I'd suggest re-gearing your 3.73's if you plan on running 35" tires.
