TheTrueMoron Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 The shocks on the front of my truck are pretty much shot so I'm looking into getting the Edelbrock Xtreme IAS (I've done the research and made up my mind). I'm short on cash so I was just going to replace the front shocks and leave the existing somewhat stiff rear shocks on since they give me great results when carrying stuff in the bed. I was wondering what this might do to the driving characteristics and if it could possibly pose any safety issues. What do you guys think?
Spurshot Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Don't worry about it. I just changed the fronts on my 08 to Bilsteins a month ago. The factory shocks were just not high enough damping for the spring rate. Best thing I've done to the truck.
