Buttons On Dash Wont Light Up!

Hi, everybody! Some of the buttons on my dash (volume knob, seek/scan button and some buttons on the steering wheel) don't light up at night anymore. It's kind of a hassle.. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

welcome. You would have to tell us what year truck you got too. Anything older has bulbs and they are tricky to get until someone tells you how to get to each bulb. Usually the bulbs are specifiic to each application.

Steering wheel buttons can be replaces fairly easily. The radio buttons are a huge pain and may not be worth the hassle. Hit the dash above the radio, that may get the lights to come back on.

Well, the truck is an '03 Sierra. If someone could tell me how to fix the problem on the steering wheel and the dash, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The lights in the radio are all individually soldered in the housing. I have read that you can take the whole thing apart and replace bulbs with ones from Radio Shack, but as mentioned above it is a HUGE PITA. I choose to drive in the dark.
