I'm asking if anyone done real testing before and after. Your 0-60 times and quarter mile times how much faster was it with the tune? With just a tune no other mods. Please post you numbers up! I Might get a tune if it's worth it..

I didn't get my tune for 0-60 and 1/4 mile purposes. I got one for "driveability" purposes so I don't feel like I am driving a 1976 Pinto with a bad carburetor.

But the added power is nice too.

I just want to feel it and know that it's quicker this truck is so slugish. I by know means hotrod the hell out of the truck. My days for that are done. I'm not a kid anymore (lol).. I'm 42 years old!!

42 That's still young... I'm 53 and trust me the tune is worth the money. Get in touch with Justin at Black Bear Performance. You won't be dissapointed. Just ask around....

Best way to go next to a dyno tune.

Check the Black Bear section in the supporting vendors area. They have a bunch of live tunes coming up. There very well could be one in your area. I know he will be back in Ft. Worth, TX in Sept.

DO IT! Your only regret will be not doing it sooner.

Just to clear up the misconception, the cable tune is essentially the same as a live tune except Justin is not in the vehicle with you while you are logging. He uses the same data sets to make changes to your tune. The only other thing you miss out on, is feeling the difference as Justin makes the changes on the fly.

Just tell Justin what you want shift firmness, octane of gas you want to use, daily driver, TH mode, if you want AFM left on or off etc. etc...

Yeah, I meant to mention that too. The cable tune is how I would have went if we did not get a tune put together in Fort Worth.

So if a live tune is not in order. A cable tune is great. You just don't get to see/feel the difference and meet Justin. But, either way you go, you can't go wrong.

The cable tunes are available, but there is a waitlist. The 6spd transmissions are the ones that can not be tuned via mail, due to the fact that the TCM is internal to the transmission.
