Unlock Radio

I replaced the original battery in my 29,000 mile 2000 S-10 and I can't locate the code I put in for the radio. I searched the forum here and found no real help and from Google found some info. I followed the instructions and called 1 800 537 5140 but the code # given from the Google search was not acceptable to who ever I called. Can anyone help with this simple problem?? Thanks in advance!

Well, I bought a used GM radio and went to dealer. No problems. But it did cost an hour's labor.

 

Sorry, I don't have a clue how to unlock a radio.
