Sluggish Take Off

I have 95 gmc k1500 z71 with 350 that is sluggish when you accelerate from stand still. It idles fine and runs good at other speeds. The exhaust has a strong odor that seems to start as the engine warms up and continues from then on. Has new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, air and fuel filter, ecm, and ignition switch. I have considered changing O2 sensor and checking the cat for blockage. Any advice would be appreciated.

clean it up, maybe clean the injectors

No, its smells like gas and gives you a headache pretty quick.

your running rich then, o2 sensors need to be replaced...otherwise you got leaky injectors

Thanx, I'll check the timing and if needed change the O2 sensor.
