Blue Led Bulb Gauge Cluster And Hvac Pics!

I finally finished installing the blue leds in my gauge cluster and hvac controls to match my new stereo. It was more of a pain finding the right led bulbs to work correctly then actually doing it. I had to solder all the hvac bulbs and it used 2 different sizes. The gauge cluster was easy. I had to get some 194 twist lock bases off ebay for the big bulbs and 3 smaller leds for the turn signals and high beam. The bulbs are actual 194 5led bulbs and snap right in to the ebay bases. Anyway, it turned out great! The bulbs are plenty bright and will dim as normal. Here are some crappy pics taken with my phone.

The only thing I could think of was an overlay of some kind. I plan on getting an Escalade cluster, at some point, so I'm not going to mess with it. I'm not skilled enough to change the lcd color.

The dimmer works with yours? Cool. With mine it's full bright or nothing.

What head unit is that? It looks like my friend's Dual.

It is a dual dvd player. I forget the model but it's the latest with bluetooth built in. I lik it. I heard leds don't dim but mine will. They don't dim as low as before, but there is a noticable difference from low to high.

Thanks guys. It took a couple of hours to solder the hvac bulbs to the circuit board. I had to check the polarity of the circuit board before I soldered the leds. The cluster bulbs only took a few minutes. All in all, I probably spent around 3 hours total.

how did you find out the polarity to solder them in? I did all my dash ones, and removed the old hvac ones.. soldered the new ones in, and none work... Figures, LOL.
