Seems an irrelevant test to me - if I was going to pull a big trailer, especially in hill country I wouldn't buy the small V8, much less a V6.

Well they didn't put the Eco-Boost V-6 up against Dodge's V-6, otherwise the Eco would have booya'd Dodge.

Give it enough power and some nannies, any things possible. Maybe next ford will put a four banger with quad turbos with the ability to tow 13k!

Ford just had an article on Left Lane claiming two thirds of cars will have 4 bangers by 2020. Maybe they'll throw one in the F-150 too

Wouldn't doubt it. Them little engines will be screaming!! Also. All exhaust will sound nice and Ricey when aftermarket systems come out, can't wait!

it's happening now all over the industry, the malibu, fusion, sonata, etc... none of them available with the 6 anymore and more and more cars and eliminating it from the lineup....
