Where did you run the block heater cord of the old body style to make it easily accessible to the outside of the vehicle?

Out through the slot in the bumper on the driver's side.

Is the 8.1 BH located on the drivers side? The cord I found is on the passenger side wheel well but is barely long enough to reach the hood.

The cord for my '05 8.1l is on the driver's side. The block heater is in the last (rear most) freeze plug on that side.
