20" Wheels from GM

GM just announced these optional wheels for the Silverado/Sierra 1500's. The wheels will be available through GM Accessories. They will debut at SEMA2003 next week:

yeah...why cant they make some cool lookin 8 lug wheels.....just because something is strong, and works, doesn't mean it has to look like s**t???

I mean I know you can buy aftermarket, but why not come from the factory with cool lookin wheels....not some peice of crap that has a plastic center cap, and fake black lugs. I must be dumb, because it took me about two months to realize that my center caps were plastic....I had never had a reason to touch them, until on was half way off.....talk about a way to save a few bucks.....gimme a break.....

ok eough rant.....I just like nice lookin wheels....but I hate how much good ones cost

even though they are 6 lug they are still better rims than anything optional on any other truck. Only available in 20" though?

The wheels look nice, but until the make 20" BF Goodrich All-terrains, the rims are worthless to me!

lol... i agree with what he said. That's why I asked what sizes (if any others) GMC was making. Not everyone wants a "show-looking" or "lowered" truck. Some people want to lift their trucks and lifted trucks don't use 20" rims

So riddle me this.........

The only truck right now that come stock with 20" rims are the Denali and the Chevy SS.... Why spend that many dollars developing rims that are for only 20 trucks. When they could make them in 16" and 17" sizes along with 6 and 8 lug and make a fortune off people upgrading......

Chevy has a 17 inch option for 2004. Not sure about GMC. As far a 20 inch they have been available here at: www.transwheel.com for quite sometime.

my 03 Sierra Denali came from the factory with 17" wheels and P265.r70.17" wrangler HP tires. tis also quadrasteer, and I tow a 24' 7k# 5th wheel RV

As far as you guys who want em in 8 lug.... why??? You bought a work truck, and so there should be no need for a 20 inch wheel UNTIL someone can come out with any sort of load range E tire in 20".... LOL...
